On January 9th, 2010, my family of 4 arrived in Texas. We knew no one, not even one person. We were sent here from Florida on orders from my husbands new job with the US government. Even the housing we had secured was sight unseen, all agreements with the landlord was done by email. Since we were here on assignment by the government, our housing was supposed to include all utilities, lawn care, everything needed to live including furniture, towels, etc.

Imagine our horror and dismay when we arrived to a huge mess. The landlord did not provide what was promised. We had no choice but to stay, we didn't have anywhere else to turn. We had a hard time finding this place having to do it long distance from Florida plus we have a small dog. Apparently, there are not many furnished places to rent in this town. Even real estate agents were hard pressed to help us.

Then agony turned to horror when toward the end of our first month we received notice from our landlord that they had decided not to honor our informal email agreement. They were demanding that we either vacate the house or pay them for all utilities plus a security deposit. We were left with only 5 days to find a new place to go since paying for those things by us was not allowed by the government contract. We called real estate agents, private homeowners, vacation homes, apartment buildings, everyone we could think of to try to find a house or apartment that was furnished, include all utilities in the rent payment.

We finally found Anna Scheller of Ceniza 7 Properties. She was perfect, she specializes in people who need a house or apartment, short term and includes all of the things that are required. Again, disappointment when she stated that she was full with a waiting list.

I began to experience her compassion when after hearing my problem, she said that she did have something available, but only for the next 2 1/2 weeks since it was already promised to someone coming into town on the 22nd. Talk about waiting to exhale, it was the perfect temporary solution for us to buy time to find our perfect living arrangement. She not only let us move in there for that short time frame, she actively searched out new buildings, houses and apartments for us. She even took me to view one of her prospective leases to see if I felt if would work for my family. She understood that we really needed a 2 story house with a huge yard. She wasn't able to find one for us but I have never had anyone try as hard as Anna. We found a place near the end of our two and a half weeks, which gave us ample time to move.

Anna heard our desperation and helped us when we had no where to turn and we can never thank her enough! Anna let us lease from her for that short time and stopped by numerous times to check on us. She is not out just to get renters and make a buck, she is truly in the business of helping people. Anna, you rock!

Just wanted to say thank you so much for helping with our housing during our stay in Del Rio. When we found out we were coming down I was so worried we would have to stay in a hotel. Luckily I was given your name and you found us a great apartment that was ready to live in right when we needed it. The place was very clean and all the furniture and appliances were nice. The lease was perfect for our stay as well. You could not have been more helpful any time we needed you, apartment or otherwise, and we really appreciate it. I'll be sure to contact you again if we ever come back.

The customer service and attention to detail is what make this property better than the rest. The apartment is equipped with all the amenities. And I mean ALL! For those of you that are thinking about a nice rental for easy terms and a super nice Landlord, you will not go wrong with Anna Scheller. As a matter of fact, the whole family is super.

A bit more pricey but well worth the extra money spent. We have virtually all of our needs taken care of. And if that is not good enough then just call Anna. She'll run over and help you with anything. And given that you may be a newcomer to this area, it is very comforting to have a quasi- tour guide at our disposal.

We would highly recommend the Ceniza 7 apartments and/or any others that they manage.
